Today's Success Tomorrow's Future

The way to succeed is simple, you got to believe in the 3 P's: Passion, Purpose, and Pursue. I don’t care how much passion you got, if you fail to pursue it, you will crack and ultimately your dreams will shatter in half. In a nutshell, many of you, want others to support your dreams; your peers, your family members, once you hear them say no, it's just not for you. Your passion cracks in half, you want to give up, and say to yourselves, what’s the use if no one even believe in me? At the end of the day, you question yourself and say out loud why in the hell, shall I even try. Truth be told, you don’t need any assurance from others, it’s your story, you are the director, if it’s a flop, whose fault, is it? Change your script and re-write your history, if it’s a flop no problem, back to the drawing board. To be honest with you not everyone is going support your dreams; family and friends will hate on you, why because they don’t have what it takes; the courage, the balls, they are afraid of failure, but you’re different. Look if you got a dream, go ahead, and protect it, and don’t let anybody take it away from you. The truth is, ladies and gentlemen they are two types of people in this world, those that are willing to give, all they got 100% to follow through and pursue, and those who are just waiting for an opportunity to hatch on their lap. Which one are you, ask yourself this question, are you spending so much time watching other peoples’ lives on Facebook and in return, failing to follow through on your own commitments, then my friend you need to take another look in the mirror and question yourself?

I want you to give yourself a week, for some quality time to yourself. Go ahead and get your feet wet, on a subject that sparks your interest, something that will define your purpose. Perhaps it starts with volunteering, community service, do what’s out of the norm, check to see if it makes you feel blissful, if so, now you’re thinking out of the box. See what brings you joy, is it perhaps becoming a community leader, or is it becoming an artist, and see what really defines your soul. Ask yourself at the end of the day, what’s my next milestone, question it, with w/ P’s. Does it have a passion, a purpose, forget the money for one second, think of the joy, it will bring to you, the people you will touch intellectually. Sit down and really have a conversation with yourself, ask what are some of the things you want to peruse, and have others follow in your footsteps. Just like what Steve Jobs said, before he left the world, “Stay hungry stay foolish."

My suggestion would be to spend 20 minutes a day to read a positive book on people you look up to in the industry, take action and follow two people in the industry on Instagram or Twitter. Learn from their trials and tribulations and see what made them unique from the rest. Next thing go ahead and write down 3 goals you want to attempt to pursue, in the next 6 months. Plan to really do this, why because I have a passion, I will pursue it, and I have a purpose. Go out there, because nobody, I mean nobody can stop your dreams except yourself, your success is written in your DNA, we just have to fine-tune it a bit. Why do you think God has given you another shot in life, not just to collect dust, and live average? But to create that image and leave a legacy behind, for the next generation to come. I want you to remember 3 things, before I say goodbye, repeat it out loud: I can, I must, and I will.
